My uncle was a comic book artist, he strived to work for Marvel, DC, Image or Malibu comics, he never landed a job at any of them, but showed me the letters he got from Marvel and DC in a binder where they photocopied his artwork, circled mistakes and told him that he was very good and that he will improve, he taught me a lot of what I know. It was so cool to see someone have the ability to draw whatever they wanted to, I knew I had to do it. There are many other artists in my family as well, I'm probably the least coordinated out of all the creative ones, but it's something I get to enjoy doing while I'm here. Thanks for asking.
